About Paul Arena

Paul Arena is a financial expert who specializes in intellectual property, mergers, financial management, and operations. As the CEO of AIM Group, Paul oversees all of the funding, acquisitions, and expansion capital related to the firm.

Paul received his education at Barry University in Miami, Florida. He studied finance and economics and returned a few years later to learn the ins and outs of corporate finance, banking, and securities law. This well-rounded education, combined with his natural negotiation and logical problem-solving talents, were the catalysts for his successful career in the business world.

One thing that sets Paul Arena out from the crowd is his ability to jump in feet first. Paul didn’t wait to graduate to begin forging his path in the entrepreneurial industry. In fact, while he was still at Barry University, Paul Arena was the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of an IT firm, Cereus Technology Partners. While working for this company, Paul was regularly exposed to the corporate world, leaving him with valuable experience that he could draw on later in life, as he’d learned the ins and outs of the corporate world. This successful venture had empowered him to continue on in other businesses. For example, he was the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Geos Communication, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Augme Technologies, Inc, and Hipcricket, Inc., The Senior Managing Director and then Executive Chairman for AudioEye, Inc., as well as the Principal Co-Founder of ArenaLife, LLC.

Paul initially worked on Wall Street as an investment banker for Drexel Burnham. Still, he instantly soared above his peers because he could see value in thinking outside traditional revenue methods. He absorbed knowledge everywhere he could and learned early on about the importance of intellectual property and its potential to increase enterprise value and make money for investors.

Throughout Paul’s very productive three-decade career, he has founded several successful firms and has a reputation for being a fearless decision-maker. His ability to successfully coordinate several complex and important initiatives at the same time is well-accomplished. One of the other reasons Paul stands out from his competition is his versatility. Paul is just as confident working with start-ups as he is with established businesses looking for growth opportunities.

Paul Arena has worked in numerous executive roles, including corporate finance, syndication, and distribution over the past thirty years. To date, he has been a part of the successful execution of approximately $3 billion in financings. Paul has led finance, financial management, operations, and mergers and acquisition teams. Paul has led accounting departments, established and implemented short-term and long-term company plans, and organized product distribution to a wide range of consumer and corporate markets.

Paul Arena has had a number of accomplishments throughout his lengthy career. He’s acted as the Chairman and CEO of a public technology mobile marketing and advertising company. While under his leadership, the company’s annual “run rate” revenues grew from less than a $1 million to $30 million in the span of 10 quarters. He’s founded a publicly held technology company that sold for $6.5 million in 2008. He was the Financial Advisor and minority interest owner to one of the world’s largest recycling facilities, and was a cofounding partner in a start-up firm that grew to 150+ employees. That company had annual excess sales of $25 million and grew to complete combined financing transactions of $250 million+ in just two years.
